Tejera Microsystems Engineering, Inc. gives a facelift to the Auto-Trickle Adapter

Same great way to keep batteries charged and ready to go

Tampa , FL August 12, 1997 -  Today Tejera Microsystems Engineering, Inc. (TME) unveiled its latest offering to the NiCd battery after market. The new Auto-Trickle Adapter ( now model ATA-CX3 release ) makes dumb overnight  battery chargers smart! Taking from the success of prior models, the new Auto-Trickle Adapter has all of the same great qualities that made the series so popular, along with several new enhancements.

As always, all you have to do is plug the adapter into the wall and plug your overnight charger(s) into it. Then at the push of a button you can command a timed charge or a trickle charge for your batteries. This means that you will always have batteries ready to go without the fear of overcharging. Batteries can be left on their standard overnight chargers indefinitely. All this without the expense of modifying or replacing your existing chargers.

New plastic case, new functionality, and new technology too...

More than just a simple timer, the new ATA-CX3  provides a full charge timer automatically going to a pulse trickle adapter under full microprocessor control. Users of the new model will be able to switch back and forth between charge and trickle at the push of a button.  The new model features a new plug in the wall case, a flat panel touch switch, and a new mode indicator light. Stylish and attractive, the new ATA now boasts a 3 prong grounded and fused outlet. This allows you to easily plug in a grounded power strip. The 120 watts of power still allow you to control a maximum of 30 pairs of 50 ma chargers or equivalent.  TME continues to stand behind this product with an impressive two year warranty.

TME sees this product as a must have accessory. Ideal for R/C modelers plagued with keeping track of their batteries in spite of changing weather and schedules. The ATA is compatible with most overnight chargers that plug into a standard 110 outlet. This allows you to use it with, cordless tools, cell phones, and thousands of other NiCd powered equipment.  The ATA-CX3 continues the tradition of taking the hassle and the worry out of battery charging.
